In 2002, stag and Seair entered into an agreement to develop a reservation and ticketing system to help support the ambitious growth projections set forth by the company's management. This agreement led to the joint development of the stag+Airline Reservation and Ticketing System (stag+ARTS), a system for small and medium airlines.
Over the past 4 years, Seair and stag have worked closely together in the development of stag+ARTS, leveraging stag's deep technical competency on the Microsoft platform, and Seair's industry expertise. The result is a reservation and ticketing system that has allowed Seair to support its tremendous growth.
The system provides Seair with core reservation, ticketing and check-in functionality, has an Internet-based reservation module for use by Seair's agents around the world, and very soon will include e-ticketing for on-line business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions.
And the partnership continues to grow, with stag and Seair working to provide an all-inclusive package for small and medium airlines globally, including a hosted stag+ARTS, call center support, and consulting services to assist other regional airlines around the world experience the success that Seair has been able to achieve using the system.
