History

Armed with an in-depth understanding and appreciation of technology, coupled with a belief in the strength of the Filipino IT talent, stag was founded in 1998. The company focused initially on the development of web-based and client/server applications for Philippine-based small to medium enterprises. This experience enabled the stag team to build a solid, operational methodology for managing the software development lifecycle that allowed their services to scale to the Enterprise market.

During the dot.com boom of the 1999/2000 era, stag expanded its clientele to include prominent US dot.com companies looking to outsource their development requirements overseas. Fueled initially by a lack of internal resources, many of stag’s clients came to realize that the significant economic benefits were as compelling as the additional resources to their organization. Over the years, stag has worked with numerous off-shore clients, allowing stag to hone their processes to maximize the value realization of working in an off-shore model.

Today, stag is a mid-sized custom software development and IT resource management solutions company with a formidable force of consummate IT professionals servicing multinational corporations around the globe. stag is one of the select few IT companies in the Philippines with the ability to create robust, scalable, Enterprise-class .NET applications using the latest .NET technologies and server platforms.

In 2005/2006, stag attained the recognition of Microsoft Gold Certified Partner with demonstrated competency in Custom Software Development, Business Process and Integration, and ISV/Software Solutions, becoming the first Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Custom Software Development in the Philippines.  Combined with the company’s experience in working on off-shore projects, these factors make stag the logical choice for any .NET custom software development project anywhere in the world.
